About me

Bringing business, architecture and execution together

I design and develop digital products and corporate systems. I start with the business process and its constraints, then tie architecture, development and operation into a working solution.

My experience covers engineering work, field-reporting automation, corporate platforms and integrations, building a development studio, and a SaaS for documents and e-signing.

Approach

I don't start with technology. I start with the problem.

  1. 01

    Understand

Understand the business process, its constraints and the real problem.

  2. 02

    Design

    Choose the architecture and approach.

  3. 03

    Build

Bring the team together and make the solution work.

  4. 04

    Prove it in practice

Assess the system in operation and evaluate its actual results.

Professional history

  1. 01

    Engineering practice

I worked on engineering tasks under a federal contract that spanned all of Russia. In the field I saw how manual processing of reports and photos slows down the whole process.

  2. 02

    Field-reporting automation

At a company carrying out a federal contract, I moved from field engineering to development: I disliked the routine that required so much manual work, so I built a system for processing field reports for a large construction and engineering organisation. 2013–2016.

  3. 03

    Corporate products

I built a loyalty system and an integration with a warehouse system at an interregional grocery retailer (2016–2017), then back-office systems, data exchange and integrations of the corporate platform of a large wholesale and logistics organisation and its non-food retail partners (2017–2021).

  4. 04

    Rescuing a product

I helped restore a technically troubled outdoor-activities aggregator to working order. Sadly, COVID spared no one.

  5. 05

    Development studio

I created my own custom software development studio. I was responsible for architecture, development and technical management; the studio grew into an end-to-end team with long-term clients.

  6. 06

    DataDoc

Since 2021 I have been building my own SaaS for documents and e-signing — DataDoc.RU (ex forma.today). Today I lead its technical side and development.

  7. 07

    Experience

Beyond this, over the years I have personally taken part in some thirty projects of various sizes, from an international platform for selling luxury real estate to healthcare systems.

Skills

Breaking down a business problem

Understand the process, the constraints and the required result before choosing a solution.

System architecture

Design systems and integrations that account for how components connect and for operating conditions.

Automation

Find manual operations and turn them into a clear working process.

Product development

Take a digital product from prototype to launch and operation.

Corporate platforms

Build subsystems, data exchange, ERP integrations and product-labelling solutions.

Technical leadership

Connect architecture, hands-on development and product goals.

SaaS

Design, launch and grow services, validating them in real-world workflows.

Now

DataDoc

I lead the technical side and development of a service for template-based documents and e-signing.

Custom development

Through my own studio I work on corporate systems and integrations.
